Whenever you transact any type of business with Causa Technologies you are bound by the following conditions:

Payment:

An initial payment of 50% of the total cost must be paid before work can begin. The initial payment is not refundable. After work is finished, a bill will be sent to the client and remaining payment will be due within 14 days.  If the project is started and there has been no communication from the client for a period of 4 weeks or more: final payment will be due. Payment must be postmarked on or before the due date. If payment is postmarked after the due date, it will be considered late. If payment is late, the client will be charged a $30 late fee. The website files will be transferred or available for downloading and the copyright text on any graphic will be removed once check or money order for final payment has cleared.

Communication between Causa Technologies and client

During a web design project, the client must be able to uphold a good communication with Causa Technologies, LLC via email. That means to reply to any email from Causa Technologies (if we require any information from the client) within 1-2 days. If the client will not be reachable by email for a longer period of time (more than 2 days), the client must write or call Causa Technologies and let us know when we can reach you. If a client does not reply to requests via email or phone for a period of 4 weeks or longer the project will be considered “abandoned” and all monies paid towards the development will be forfeited. If the client wants to initiate the project after it is abandoned they will be subject to a new estimate and initial down payment.

Changes, updates, editing

Requested changes by the client of graphics and text, after the creation of a page, during a web design project, will be charged at the hourly rate. This is considered as an update or editing. However, one change per page is included in the web design package. If the client repeatedly changes his mind about the look of the site layout and wants to change things yet again, he will be charged for the extra time at the hourly rate. Due to the complexities in flash, all types of changes will be charged at the hourly rate.

Cancellation

Causa Technologies will cancel the website or website work if payment has not been made. If customer cancels the order of a website when work has been done, Causa Technologies will charge the customer for the work at an hourly rate.

Copyright

You are only licensed to use the website on one domain. You can make one copy of the site for restoring the site if the server fails.
You buy web design work when you order a site. But Causa Technologies owns the copyrights for the design. You are not allowed to make copies and re-distribute the design to a third party. You must keep the “design by: Causa Technologies ” text in the bottom footer of the site.

Disclaimer

Causa Technologies retains the right to refuse content that is against the law. Causa Technologies will not be not be held responsible for delays or technical problems caused by hosting servers.

Causa Technologies reserves the right to revise its policy at any time.
